Sound familiar?

The bottleneck is rarely more trucks

Most home service companies hit a ceiling not because demand dries up, but because the office cannot coordinate any more work than it already does. That ceiling is almost always software.

  • Every job change is a phone call to the office

Dispatchers spend the day relaying information that software could push once.

  • After-hours calls go to voicemail

The customer dials the next company before you hear the message.

  • The same data gets typed into three systems

Hours of admin a week, and three versions of the truth to reconcile.

  • Job photos live on personal phones

Nothing to show an insurer or a customer who disputes the work.

  • Nobody knows which jobs actually make money

Pricing gets set by instinct rather than by margin per job type.

  • Techs avoid the software you already pay for

A tool too slow to use in the field is a tool that quietly gets abandoned.

What we build

Software for how the trades actually work

Off-the-shelf tools are built for an average company that does not exist. We build for the way yours runs — the routes, the parts, the paperwork, the customer who only answers after six.

Custom Mobile Apps

Technician apps that work in a crawlspace with one bar of signal, and customer apps that make booking you easier than calling your competitor. Native-quality, offline-tolerant, and designed for one-handed use in the field.

8–14 weeks for a first releaseDetails

Booking & Scheduling Automation

Most home service leads go to whoever responds first, not whoever is best. We build self-serve booking, instant confirmations, and reminder sequences so a job gets scheduled at 11 PM without anyone picking up the phone.

3–6 weeksDetails

Dispatch & Field Operations

Tools for the person running the board: assign work by skill and location, see status without calling anyone, and end the day with documentation that already exists instead of paperwork someone has to reconstruct.

6–12 weeksDetails

AI Call & Lead Intake

A missed call is a job that went to a competitor. We build intake that answers around the clock, asks the right qualifying questions for your trade, books straightforward work automatically, and escalates real emergencies to a human immediately.

4–8 weeksDetails

Integrations & Data

Most home service companies run five systems that each hold part of the truth, and someone re-types data between them all day. We connect them and put the numbers in one place you can actually make decisions from.

2–8 weeks depending on the systemsDetails

Websites & Lead Capture

A home service site has one job: turn a searcher into a booked appointment. We build sites that load fast on a phone with bad signal, rank for the work you want, and make requesting a quote take under a minute.

How we work

The terms most software shops will not put in writing

Custom software has a bad reputation in the trades, and mostly it is deserved. These four commitments are how we avoid being another example.

1Fixed scope, fixed price
We scope the work up front and quote a number. If we underestimate, that is our problem to absorb — not a change order on your invoice.
2You own everything
Source code, accounts, domains, and data are yours from day one, in your repositories and your cloud accounts. No lock-in, no hostage situation.
3You see it every week
Working software in a demo each week, not a status report. If we are building the wrong thing, you find out in week one instead of month four.
4You talk to whoever builds it
No account manager relaying messages to an offshore team. You have the direct line of the person writing the code.

The process

Four steps, no mystery

You always know what is being built, what it costs, and what lands next week.

  1. 1

    Discovery call

Thirty minutes on what actually slows your crews down. No pitch deck. If software is not the answer, we will say so.

  2. 2

    Scope and fixed quote

We write down exactly what gets built, what it costs, and when it lands. You approve before anything starts.

  3. 3

    Build in weekly sprints

Working software demoed every week. You steer as it takes shape rather than reviewing a finished thing you cannot change.

  4. 4

    Launch and support

We ship it, train your team on it, and stay on for a support window so the first month in the field is not on you.

FAQ

Questions worth asking

Straight answers about cost, ownership, and whether you should hire us at all.

Not covered here? hello@megasfera.net

We are a contractor, not a tech company. Is custom software really for us?

Often it is not, and we will say so. If an off-the-shelf platform covers what you need, buy it — it will be cheaper and better supported than anything custom. Custom earns its place when the way you win work is genuinely different from your competitors, or when the gaps between your existing tools are costing real money every week.

What does a project usually cost?

It depends entirely on scope, so any number quoted before a conversation would be invented. What we can promise is the shape: we scope first, quote a fixed price, and you approve it before work starts. No hourly meters, no discovering the cost as you go.

Who owns the code when we are done?

You do, completely. It lives in your repository, deploys to your cloud accounts, and publishes under your App Store and Play Store accounts. If you want to hire someone else to take it forward, nothing needs to be released or renegotiated.

We already pay for ServiceTitan / Jobber / Housecall Pro.

Good — keep it. Ripping out a working field service platform is rarely worth the disruption, and we are not trying to sell you a replacement. We build the layer around it: the app it does not have, the automation it does not do, the integration it does not offer.

What happens after launch?

Every project includes a support window so the first weeks in the field are not your problem alone. After that you can take it in-house, keep us on a support plan, or hand it to another developer. Because you own everything, all three are real options.

Do you work with companies outside Florida?

Yes. We are based in Miami and work with home service companies across the US remotely — this kind of work does not require anyone to be in the room. Local clients are welcome to meet in person.

Tell us what is slowing you down.

A 30-minute call, no pitch deck. You will leave knowing whether software helps and roughly what it would take — even if the answer is that you do not need us.
