1.Who we are
This policy explains how MegaSfera LLC (a Florida limited liability company, doing business as MegaSfera, referred to here as “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information collected through https://megasfera.net, our MegaSfera mobile app for iOS and Android, and the service requests that come through them.
We are the controller of that information. You can reach our privacy contact at privacy@megasfera.net or by mail at 78 SW 7th St, Miami, FL 33130.
2.Information we collect
Information you give us
Our quote form does not send anything to a server. When you submit it, your own email application opens with a message addressed to us, already filled in, and you press send. Nothing reaches us until you do. The message contains exactly the fields on the form:
- Your name
- Your company name and trade
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- What you are looking to build and your rough timeline
- The description of the problem that you write
- Whether you checked the box consenting to be contacted
Please do not include credentials, payment card numbers, or your own customers’ personal data in the description field. We do not need them at the enquiry stage and an email is not the place for them.
Information collected automatically
This is a static website — there is no application server of ours recording what you do. Our hosting provider keeps standard web server access logs, which include your IP address, your browser’s user-agent, and which pages were requested. That happens for every site on the internet and is used for security and reliability, not to profile you or target advertising. We do not query those logs to identify visitors.
When you send us a quote email, it naturally carries whatever your own email provider attaches to outgoing mail, such as your address and the send time. We only ever see what your email client sends.
What we deliberately do not collect
Our mobile app follows the same rule: it collects only what you enter and what is technically required to deliver the service you asked for. The App Store privacy label on our listing reflects this and is kept in sync with this policy.
3.How we use your information
We use what you give us for these purposes and no others:
- To respond to your enquiry. Contacting you to discuss what you need and whether we are the right fit.
- To scope and quote work. Preparing a proposal and, if you go ahead, delivering the project.
- To keep client records. Contracts, invoices, and project history for as long as we work together.
- To meet legal obligations. Tax and accounting records, and responding to lawful requests.
We do not use your information to train machine learning models, we do not enrol you in marketing campaigns you did not ask for, and we do not name you as a client publicly without your permission.
4.Calls, texts, and email
The consent checkbox on our form asks permission to contact you about that enquiry. That is the entire scope of the permission. Checking it is not a condition of buying anything, and it does not sign you up for a newsletter.
To stop hearing from us, reply to any message or write to privacy@megasfera.net and we will close the thread. While a project is actually running we will still send the messages needed to deliver it — schedules, review requests, invoices — because those are the work rather than marketing.
6.How long we keep it
Enquiries that never become projects are deleted from our mailbox after 24 months. Records tied to actual client work are kept longer, because contracts, invoices, and tax rules require us to retain them.
Server access logs are retained by our hosting provider on their own schedule and are not something we copy, export, or keep separately.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner. See your rights below.
7.How we protect it
This site is served only over encrypted HTTPS. Because it is static and stores nothing itself, there is no customer database attached to it to breach — your details live in our email system, protected by the same account security and encryption at rest that covers the rest of our business correspondence.
Access to stored requests is limited to the staff who need it to dispatch and complete work. No security is perfect, and we will not claim otherwise. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you and the appropriate regulators as required by law.
8.Your rights and choices
Wherever you live, you can ask us to do any of the following, and we will honor the request:
- Access — get a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Correct — fix anything inaccurate.
- Delete — remove your information, except records we are legally required to keep.
- Opt out — stop calls, texts, or emails at any time.
- Portability — receive your information in a machine-readable format.
Email privacy@megasfera.net with the phone number or email address you used, and we will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first — usually by replying from the email address on the request. We will not charge you, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
California residents
Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, you have the rights listed above plus the right to know the categories of personal information collected, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties it is disclosed to — all of which are set out in this policy. Because we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA, there is no “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” process to offer. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
Other states and regions
Residents of other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws have substantially the same rights, and we apply the list above uniformly rather than tracking which statute covers you. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing are performance of a contract (responding to and completing your service request), legitimate interests (preventing abuse of our forms), and legal obligation (tax and licensing records). You may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
9.Children’s privacy
This is a business-to-business website aimed at people running home service companies. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to privacy@megasfera.net and we will delete it.
10.Links to other sites
Our pages may link to software platforms, documentation, or other third-party sites. Once you follow a link you are on someone else’s site, governed by their privacy policy, not this one. We do not control what they collect and are not responsible for it.
11.Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and move the “last updated” date at the top. For material changes — a new category of data, a new company receiving it — we will give prominent notice on the site before the change takes effect, and contact affected customers directly where practical.
12.Contact us
Questions, requests, or complaints about privacy go to privacy@megasfera.net. A human reads that inbox.
