Fixed price, agreed before anything starts

No hourly meter, no discovering the cost as the project runs. Here is how engagements are structured and what you own at the end.

Fixed fee

1–2 weeks

For when you know something is broken but not what to build. Ends with a written plan you own — useful even if you never hire us to build it.

  • Written scope with priorities and trade-offs
  • Fixed build quote with a delivery date
  • The plan is yours — take it to any developer

  • Weekly working demos, not status reports
  • Payment tied to milestones, never hourly
  • Overruns absorbed by us, not billed to you
  • Source code and accounts yours from day one

Support plan

Monthly

cancel anytime

After launch. Keeps things monitored and fixed as platforms change underneath you — vendors break APIs, Apple changes requirements.

  • Monitoring and alerting on integrations
  • Bug fixes and security patching
  • OS and platform compatibility updates
  • App Store resubmissions when policies change
  • A block of hours for small enhancements
  • Priority response ahead of new projects

What drives the number

Why two projects with the same name cost differently

If you want a rough figure before a call, these are the factors that move it most. Being ready with answers makes the first conversation much faster.

  • How many systems it has to talk to

One clean API is a week. Four systems, one of which has no API, is most of the project.

  • Whether it works offline

Field software that must keep working without signal is meaningfully harder than software that assumes a connection.

  • How many distinct user types

A tech app, a dispatcher board, and a customer portal are three products sharing a database.

  • Whether data has to be migrated

Years of job history from an old system is often as much work as the new features.

  • App store distribution

Publishing adds review cycles, privacy labels, and release process that a web app skips entirely.

Pricing FAQ

The money questions

Everything people ask before they are comfortable booking a call.

Why is there no price on this page?

Because a number published before understanding your business would be fiction. A booking flow for a two-truck operation and one for forty trucks share a name and nothing else. We would rather scope properly and quote once than advertise a figure that turns out to be wrong in either direction.

Why fixed price rather than hourly?

Hourly billing rewards whoever works slowest and puts every estimation mistake on your invoice. Fixed price puts that risk on us, which is where it belongs — we are the ones who chose the approach.

What if we want to change scope mid-project?

Small adjustments are part of building and we absorb them. Genuinely new scope gets quoted as its own fixed-price addition, agreed before we start it. You will never find surprise work on an invoice.

Do we pay for the discovery sprint if we go ahead with the build?

Discovery is billed separately because it produces something valuable on its own — a written plan you can take anywhere. We would rather it stand alone than bundle it and pressure you into a build you have not decided on.

What are the ongoing costs after launch?

Hosting, any third-party services, and Apple's and Google's developer program fees. You pay those providers directly at their rates rather than marked up through us. A support plan is optional on top.

What if we want to stop working with you?

You keep everything — code, accounts, data, documentation — because it was always in your name. There is no transfer fee and no final invoice for release. That is the point of setting it up that way from day one.

Thirty minutes on the phone is usually enough to scope the work and give you a range. A written fixed quote follows.
