About
A software studio that only works with the trades
Most agencies will build anything for anyone. We picked one industry and went deep, because knowing how a dispatch board actually gets used beats knowing six frameworks.
Why the trades
Because the software is genuinely bad
Home service companies run on a strange mix: one expensive platform that does 70% of the job, three spreadsheets covering the rest, and a group chat holding it all together. Everyone knows it is inefficient. Nobody has time to fix it while the phone is ringing.
Meanwhile most custom software gets built by people who have never watched a dispatcher work. They ship something technically correct and operationally useless — too many taps, too slow on a bad connection, designed for someone sitting at a desk rather than standing in an attic in July.
That gap is the whole business. Not better technology — better understanding of the job, applied to ordinary, well-built software.
What we believe
Operating principles
- The best software for a trade is built by someone who watched the work happen, not someone who read a requirements document
- If your dispatcher will not use it, it does not matter how good the architecture is
- Off-the-shelf is usually the right answer, and saying so costs us projects we should not have taken
- You should own your code, your data, and your accounts — anything else is a hostage situation dressed up as a service
- A fixed price means the estimation risk is ours, because we are the ones who chose the approach
- Software that is not in the field within a few weeks is software nobody has actually validated
How we work
The terms most software shops will not put in writing
Custom software has a bad reputation in the trades, and mostly it is deserved. These four commitments are how we avoid being another example.
- 1Fixed scope, fixed price
- We scope the work up front and quote a number. If we underestimate, that is our problem to absorb — not a change order on your invoice.
- 2You own everything
- Source code, accounts, domains, and data are yours from day one, in your repositories and your cloud accounts. No lock-in, no hostage situation.
- 3You see it every week
- Working software in a demo each week, not a status report. If we are building the wrong thing, you find out in week one instead of month four.
- 4You talk to whoever builds it
- No account manager relaying messages to an offshore team. You have the direct line of the person writing the code.
The process
Four steps, no mystery
You always know what is being built, what it costs, and what lands next week.
- 1
Discovery call
Thirty minutes on what actually slows your crews down. No pitch deck. If software is not the answer, we will say so.
- 2
Scope and fixed quote
We write down exactly what gets built, what it costs, and when it lands. You approve before anything starts.
- 3
Build in weekly sprints
Working software demoed every week. You steer as it takes shape rather than reviewing a finished thing you cannot change.
- 4
Launch and support
We ship it, train your team on it, and stay on for a support window so the first month in the field is not on you.
Honesty first
When you should not hire us
Every agency page claims to be a great fit for everyone. Here is where we are genuinely the wrong choice — knowing this up front saves us both a wasted month.
You want the cheapest option
We are not it. Offshore teams bill less per hour. Sometimes that works out; often the savings evaporate in rework and management overhead. Either way, price is not where we compete.
An off-the-shelf platform already fits
If Jobber or Housecall Pro covers what you need, buy it. It will be cheaper and better supported than anything custom. We will tell you this on the first call rather than after you have paid for discovery.
You need it finished in two weeks
Real software takes real time. Anyone promising a full field app inside a fortnight is either lying or building something you will replace within the year.
Nobody on your side can make decisions
Projects need one person who can answer questions and approve direction. Without that, every sprint stalls waiting on a committee and the cost climbs for no one's benefit.

A 30-minute call, no pitch deck. You will leave knowing whether software helps and roughly what it would take — even if the answer is that you do not need us.
